Fascinating Forests
Creatures, Connections & Curiosities
Elisabeth C. Miller Library, September 2025
“Fascinating Forests: Creatures, Connections & Curiosities,” ran from September 4th to September 29th, 2025 at the Elisabeth C. Miller Library on the University of Washington Campus in Seattle.
The exhibit featured artwork from GNSI-Northwest members that focused on the creatures (big & small) that one might find in forests, focusing specifically on pacific northwest forests. From owls to squirrels to lichens on branches, each work told a story of the forest and highlighted the story-telling powers that science/nature art can hold.
GNSI – Northwest Chapter would like to thank the Elisabeth C. Miller Library for hosting the exhibition, as well as the artists and volunteer organizers who made this show possible.
