Time: 12-5PM
Location: Shoreline Library
345 NE 175th Street

Bart Cannon will present minerals and the history of mineral illustration. He plans to bring four stereo microscopes for viewing samples and also a polarizing light microscope for viewing petrographic thin sections. After Bart's presentation we'll have plenty of time for drawing and photographing samples. This will be free drawing time rather than a formal project so bring your favorite tools and prepare to have some fun.
In addition to Bart's presentation we'll have time for show and tell at the beginning of the workshop. Please bring your projects, in progress and finished, to share with the group. We'd all love to see what everyone's working on!
