Inger Hutton

Picture
Life is beautiful, no? I grew up behind a chocolate factory in Vancouver, B.C., where the maintenance man was always willing to trade a treat for a smile. Moments of joy must be a part of our lives, yes?

I’ve always loved to draw and paint, but in the last few years it is my work. I love turning inspiration into a finished work, watching it develop and sometimes being surprised by the results.

My images presented here represent my serious work with watercolor, graphite and colored pencil. These media allow me to capture the delicate, detailed beauty I find everywhere in God’s world. I’m the hiker who notices tiny ferns and fungi in the woods while my companions are hugging trees.

I hope that you find something here that reminds you of a beauty, almost forgotten, and that you will find a place for it that will remind you to make beauty a bigger part of your life.
