Clymer Museum and Gallery <clymermuseum.com> 416 North Pearl Street, Ellensburg, WA Exhibit by artists of the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators Northwest Opening on First Friday, May 6 2016, 5 to 7 pm The exhibit will run from May 6 through June 25 2016 In Nature’s Call, members of the GNSI-NW present a survey of work inspired by the wildlife and natural history of the Northwest. Some of the species are familiar and favorite local inhabitants, while others represent more obscure forms of life, be it a oreodont - a prehistoric ruminating pig-like creature from the region or a deep-sea tubeworm that lives in the harsh environment around deep-sea hydrothermal vents in the Pacific Ocean. |
