Flock to the Burke for a fabulous day filled with all things feathered! Discover more about the birds in your backyard and around the world with the Burke’s ornithology collection and visit live birds on the Burke lawn. Explore the museum with a unique indoor bird watching experience and afterwards make your own bird feeder! Information will be available for birders of all ages and experience.
Information for birders of all ages and experience levels will be provided by the Burke Museum Ornithology team along with our community partners--Seattle Audubon, Seward Park Audubon, Puget Sound Bird Observatory, and the Washington Ornithological Society. Birds at the Burke is made possible by a generous gift from Robert and Mary Louise Barden, passionate birders and friends of the Burke Museum.
