Presentation/Workshop Opportunity
High school marine biology teacher, Bryan Robles, is interested in having a science illustrator present in his class. The school is in Issaquah and you can contact him for more details (ROBLESB@issaquah.wednet.edu). I have done similar workshops/presentation in the past. They were fun and a great way to exercise my teaching skills.
Urban Sketching Class
Take a sketching tour of your own backyard: visually explore Seattle's "secret" interior public spaces, eclectic architecture, and unsuspecting passers-by. You'll get practical tips in distilling often-overwhelming visual stimuli, improve your grasp of perspective and composition, and perhaps even discover a cool place you didn't know existed.
